What’s New at Expo?

"It’s the Place To Be." That’s the slogan for this year’s International Garage Door Expo in Atlantic City, New Jersey, April 25-28, 2001. Here are a few reasons why.

GARY LOMBARD’S PICKS
When asked if he could promote only three workshops, here are the choices of Gary Lombard, president of the IDEA, the organization that manages the workshop portion of Expo.

IDEA’s Train-the-Trainer.
Lombard: "I’m most proud of this one. We’ve been working on this for more than two years. We think this certification program will explode in interest and excitement among dealers."

Managing Finances in a Soft Market.
Lombard: "This seminar is led by John Zoller and Dr. David Bowen. There’s no two people anywhere who know more about this subject than these two guys. Excellent material."
Offered: Thurs. 10:00 – 11:30 A.M.; 5:00 – 6:30 P.M.

Service and Repair - Extended Workshop.
Lombard: "These hands-on workshops are always popular. In this workshop, a forklift will actually drive right through a real door. Then they will fix it."
Offered: Sat. 7:30 – 11:30 A.M.

NEW AWARDS BANQUET

  • The annual Expo Awards Banquet will feature a completely new format.
  • New: Electrifying Light Show.
  • New: Live Music.
