Technical Tip
Conquering Condensation

During the cold winter months, homeowners may experience condensation along the bottom of their garage door. The experts at Garaga say the condensation comes from moisture in the garage and can be caused by:

· New building construction, as freshly mixed concrete releases moisture for the first two years

· Wood storage, as wood also releases moisture

· Frequent car washings

· A clothes drier ventilating into the garage

Moisture is difficult to heat and should be minimized. If you can’t eliminate the cause of the moisture, Garaga recommends installing ventilation or a dehumidifier.
